ELCID Investments Limited has informed that it has received a certificate of registration from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The registration classifies the company as a Type-1 NBFC-ND (Non-Banking Financial Company – Non-Deposit taking). The approval was issued on September 17, 2025.

Subsidiaries Covered

Along with ELCID Investments, 2 subsidiaries, Murahar Investments and Trading Company Limited, and Suptaswar Investments and Trading Company Limited, have also been included under the same certification. This allows the group to operate collectively under the NBFC-ND category.

Scope of Operations

The Type-1 NBFC-ND classification permits the company to conduct financial activities as defined under RBI regulations. However, companies with this status are not authorised to accept deposits from the public. The certification places ELCID and its subsidiaries within the supervisory framework of the central bank.

Company Filing

The information was communicated to the Bombay Stock Exchange through a filing made on September 17, 2025. The filing was signed by Ayush Dolani, Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of ELCID Investments Limited.
