BDL Share Price Rises 3%; Reports Profit Surge in Q1 FY26 Results, Declares Dividend
Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) has released its unaudited standalone financial results for the quarter ended 30 June 2025.
BDL Q1 FY26 Financial Highlights
The company reported total income of ₹33,479.14 lakh for the quarter, compared to ₹27,145.58 lakh during the same period last year. Revenue from operations stood at ₹24,792.90 lakh, reflecting an increase from ₹19,116.38 lakh in Q1 FY2024-25. Other income contributed ₹8,686.24 lakh, up from ₹8,038.00 lakh in the previous year’s corresponding quarter.
On the expense side, total expenditure for the quarter was ₹31,165.83 lakh, compared to ₹26,041.58 lakh in Q1 of the previous financial year. The cost of materials consumed was ₹20,653.40 lakh, while changes in inventories reflected a negative ₹14,730.02 lakh, indicating a significant reduction.
Profitability Highlights
BDL posted a profit before exceptional items and tax of ₹2,313.31 lakh for the quarter, a substantial rise compared to ₹1,123.34 lakh in the same quarter last year.
After accounting for tax expenses of ₹478.33 lakh, profit for the period stood at ₹1,834.98 lakh, up from ₹721.63 lakh in Q1 FY2024-25.
Dividend Declaration
The Board of Directors, at its meeting held on 27 May 2025, recommended a final dividend of ₹0.65 per equity share of ₹5 each for the financial year 2024-25. This dividend proposal is subject to the approval of shareholders in the upcoming Annual General Meeting of the company.

On August 13, 2025, BDL share price (NSE: BDL) opened at ₹1,520.30, up from its previous close of ₹1,486.00. At 9:57 AM, the share price of BDL was trading at ₹1,533.30, up by 3.18% on the NSE.
