ABB India has declared an interim dividend of ₹9.77 per share for eligible shareholders. To receive this dividend, investors must own the stock before the ex-date, which is Friday, August 8, 2025. This means today, August 7, is the last day to buy the shares if you want to be eligible for the dividend payout.
For the quarter ending June 2025, the company reported a net profit of ₹351.7 crore, which marks a decline of 20.7% compared to ₹443.5 crore in the same quarter last year.
The company’s EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortisation) also dropped by 27% year-on-year to ₹441 crore. The EBITDA margin slipped to 13%, down from 19.2% in Q2 CY24. Despite the profit decline, revenue rose by 12.2% year-on-year, reaching ₹3,175.4 crore, compared to ₹2,831 crore in Q2 of the previous year.
ABB India received new orders worth ₹3,036 crore during the quarter. This was lower on a sequential basis, as the company faced a slowdown in order activity, especially in process automation, robotics, and discrete automation.
Despite this, ABB India remains confident about the second half of 2025, emphasising that its wide-ranging product portfolio aligns well with India’s national priorities, including energy transition, digital infrastructure, and boosting manufacturing.
