Larsen & Toubro (L&T), one of India’s largest multinational conglomerates, renowned for its expertise in engineering, construction, manufacturing, and technology services, has secured an "ultra-mega" contract exceeding ₹15,000 crore for its hydrocarbon offshore division from a client in the Middle East. 

This major contract involves multiple offshore packages, covering engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) of offshore infrastructure, along with upgrading current facilities. L&T defines any project above ₹15,000 crore as “ultra-mega”.

Recent Domestic and International Project Wins

Last week, L&T’s buildings and factories segment landed contracts valued between ₹2,500 crore and ₹5,000 crore, both within India and overseas. Domestically, the company won a project from the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority for work in Amaravati and another for constructing high-rise residential towers in Mumbai. 

Internationally, its Oman unit secured a repeat order for developing premium office premises in Muscat.

Sustainability Push: Green Hydrogen Plant Initiative

As part of its sustainability drive, L&T recently announced plans to build India’s largest green hydrogen facility at Indian Oil Corporation’s Panipat refinery in Haryana. This marks a significant step in the company’s clean energy agenda and reflects its growing focus on green technologies.

L&T Share Price Performance 

As of July 29, 2025, at 12:30 PM L&T share price is trading at ₹3,445.50 per share, reflecting a surge of 0.68%. Over the past month, the stock has declined by 6.13%. The stock's 52-week high stands at ₹3,963.50 per share, while its low is ₹2,965.30 per share.
