KPI Green Energy Limited has announced that the Ministry of Corporate Affairs has approved the incorporation of a new Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) named KPIN Clean Power Three LLP (KCPTL) on July 2, 2025. This move marks a strategic step in expanding the company’s footprint in the renewable energy sector.
The SPV has been jointly formed by KPI Green Energy and its wholly-owned subsidiary, KPark Sunbeat Private Limited. KPI Green Energy has contributed ₹99,000 towards the incorporation of KCPTL, while KPark Sunbeat has invested ₹1,000. This ensures that the parent company retains dominant control over the newly formed LLP.
KCPTL is established with the core objective of engaging in activities related to the generation, development, transformation, distribution, transmission, sale, and supply of power using renewable energy sources. This includes wind and solar power, aligning with KPI Green Energy’s broader sustainability and clean energy mission.
The creation of this SPV supports KPI Green Energy’s long-term strategy to increase its renewable energy capacity through separate legal entities that streamline project financing and execution. The SPV structure allows for focused management, potential joint ventures, and better regulatory compliance in project-specific developments.
On July 3, 2025, KPI Green Energy share price opened at ₹516.00, up from its previous close of ₹514.80. At 9:26 AM, the share price of KPI Green Energy was trading at ₹518.00, up by 0.62% on the NSE.
