Keystone Realtors Limited, popularly known as Rustomjee, witnessed a noticeable surge in its share price on July 1, 2025, jumping 3.31%.
The rise came shortly after the company announced a major milestone, a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) for the redevelopment of GTB Nagar in Sion, a central Mumbai locality.
Keystone Realtors has officially received the LOA to undertake the redevelopment of GTB Nagar, one of Mumbai’s most anticipated urban renewal initiatives. The project will span approximately 11.19 acres (45,308 square metres) and is set to positively impact over 1,400 families.
This redevelopment project is expected to unlock a saleable area of around 20.7 lakh square feet, translating into an estimated Gross Development Value (GDV) of ₹4,521 crore. This initiative is regarded as one of the largest undertaken in the Mumbai region in terms of scope and community benefit.
Mr Boman Irani, Chairman and Managing Director of Keystone Realtors, expressed that this redevelopment project is more than just real estate. He emphasised that it is about rebuilding homes, restoring trust, and enhancing community life. With 1,200 society members and 200 slum residents involved, Rustomjee views the project as a socially transformative effort rather than merely an infrastructural one.
This redevelopment aligns with Rustomjee’s broader strategy of strengthening its presence in central Mumbai while maintaining a community-first approach. Through this project, the company not only enhances its real estate footprint but also reaffirms its commitment to inclusive development by collaborating with public bodies such as MHADA.
Keystone Realtors (Rustomjee) share price gained 3.74% and was trading at ₹635.35 as of 01:29 PM on July 1, 2025.
