JioBlackRock Mutual Fund has launched mutual fund investment access through the MyJio app. Users can now create an account and invest in the fund house’s schemes directly from the app by selecting the “Invest” option under the Finance section.
The update comes shortly after JioBlackRock opened subscriptions for 3 open-ended debt schemes: Liquid Fund, Money Market Fund, and Overnight Fund. These New Fund Offers (NFOs) were open between June 30 and July 2, 2025.
The Liquid Fund invests in debt and money market instruments with maturities of up to 91 days. It has a graded exit load, starting at 0.0070% on Day 1 and reducing to zero by Day 7. It is meant for short-term investment needs.
The Money Market Fund includes instruments with maturities up to one year. This fund has no exit load. It is aimed at investors looking to park funds for slightly longer periods than the Liquid Fund.
The Overnight Fund invests in instruments with daily maturity. It carries no exit load and is structured for high liquidity and minimal interest rate risk. All three schemes have a minimum investment amount of ₹500.
JioBlackRock Asset Management is a 50:50 joint venture between Jio Financial Services and BlackRock. In June 2025, the company launched its website and opened early access registrations for users. It also introduced its leadership team during the same period.
Last month, the company also announced the launch of Aladdin, BlackRock’s proprietary investment analytics and risk management platform. This was shared as part of its upcoming investment management infrastructure.
