
Krishna Buildspace, a Gujarat-headquartered construction company, has submitted its draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) to the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to raise funds via an initial public offering (IPO) to support its capital expenditure and working capital needs. Mefcom Capital Markets is acting as the merchant banker to the issue.
Krishna Buildspace IPO comprises a fresh issue of 90 lakh equity shares, along with an offer for sale (OFS) of 9 lakh shares by promoters Mohanbhai Chanabhai Sorathiya and Jayantibhai Chanabhai Sorathiya.
Krishna Buildspace plans to deploy ₹80 crore from the fresh issue proceeds towards working capital requirements, ₹5.2 crore for capital expenditure related to the acquisition of equipment and machinery, while the remaining funds will be used for general corporate purposes.
Established in 1995, Krishna Buildspace operates as a contracting and construction services provider and has completed 82 projects over the past ten years. These projects span a total built-up area of 2.30 million square feet and carry an aggregate project value of ₹639.2 crore.
As of December 2025, the company’s order book includes 19 ongoing projects spread across eight states and two Union Territories, with an unexecuted contract value of ₹524.1 crore.

On the financial side, Krishna Buildspace posted a profit of ₹15.1 crore for the financial year ended March 2025, marking a 33.6% increase from ₹11.3 crore in the previous year. Revenue during the same period grew 6.5% year-on-year to ₹183.3 crore, compared with ₹172 crore in FY24. For the six months ended September 2025, the company reported a profit of ₹8.8 crore on revenues of ₹96 crore.
