Upcoming IPO: Citius Transnet Investment Trust Filed DRHP for ₹1,340 Crore IPO

Citius Transnet Investment Trust has submitted its Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) to the markets regulator, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), seeking approval to launch an initial public offering (IPO) valued at ₹1,340 crore.

As per DRHP, Citius Transnet Investment Trust IPO units are worth up to ₹1,340 crore, with up to 25% of the offering reserved for strategic investors. Axis Capital, Ambit, and ICICI Securities are acting as the book-running lead managers for the IPO. The units are proposed to be listed on both BSE and NSE.

Use of IPO Proceeds

Of the total funds raised, ₹1,235 crore from the fresh issue is earmarked for the partial or complete acquisition of securities in SRPL and several identified project-specific SPVs, including TEL, JSEL, Dhola, and Dibang. A portion of the proceeds will also be allocated toward general corporate purposes.

About Citius Transnet Investment Trust

Citius Transnet Investment Trust operates as an infrastructure investment trust (InvIT) focused on the transport sector, with a mandate to acquire, manage, and invest in road and transport infrastructure assets across India.

The Trust is sponsored by Epic TransNet Infrastructure, a wholly owned entity of schemes under the Infrastructure Yield Trust, an AIF managed by EAAA India Alternatives Limited (EAAA).

Its current portfolio spans 3,406.71 lane kilometres, including seven toll road assets covering more than 3,043.22 lane kilometres and three annuity-based assets spanning over 363.49 lane kilometres across nine states. For FY25, the Trust reported operating revenue of ₹1,987 crore and a net loss of ₹417.7 crore.
