Astrotalk, a spiritual tech startup, has discovered a new revenue stream through its ecommerce venture, Astrotalk Store. This development comes as the company gears up for a public listing in 2027.
Launched in November 2024 and commercially scaled from January 2025, Astrotalk Store has achieved over ₹140 crore in operating revenue within its first year.
The store offers a range of spiritual products, including gemstones, Rudraksha, and jewellery. The majority of sales, around 85%-90%, are generated directly from its website.
Astrotalk Store operates independently from its parent company, with a focus on browser-led, website-first sales. The ecommerce venture employs a team of 50-60 employees and maintains a monthly revenue run rate of approximately ₹20 crore.
It has also expanded to platforms like Amazon and Blinkit, becoming a top seller on these marketplaces.
A key differentiator for Astrotalk Store is its supply chain and authentication process. The company sources materials from regions across India and conducts rigorous testing and third-party authentication for high-demand products like gemstones and Rudraksha. This meticulous process ensures product authenticity and allows for premium pricing.

Astrotalk Store plans to open offline experiential stores, with the first expected in the Delhi NCR region. The company is also preparing to launch an international ecommerce website, targeting the US market to cater to the NRI population.
Astrotalk's ecommerce venture has quickly become a significant revenue driver, with its focus on authentic spiritual products and a robust supply chain. The company's strategic expansion into offline and international markets further underscores its growth ambitions.
