Wakefit Innovations Ltd. is set to announce the allotment status of its Initial Public Offering (IPO) on December 11, after the close of the bidding process. The ₹1,288.9 crore Wakefit IPO was opened for subscription from December 8 to December 10. The IPO consisted of a fresh issue of 1.93 crore shares worth ₹377.18 crore, along with an offer for sale (OFS) of 4.68 crore shares amounting to ₹911.71 crore.
The price band for the issue was set at ₹185–₹195 per share, with a lot size of 76 shares. For retail applicants, the minimum investment stood at ₹14,820.
The company plans to use the IPO proceeds for setting up new stores, paying lease and licence fees for existing outlets, strengthening its marketing initiatives, and fulfilling general corporate requirements.
Wakefit IPO Saw Oversubscription of Over 2x
The mainboard IPO saw strong investor interest, achieving an overall subscription of 2.52 times by the final day of bidding on Wednesday.
According to NSE data, the Wakefit IPO drew bids for over 9.16 crore shares, significantly higher than the 3.63 crore shares available. The Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) segment was subscribed 3.04 times, Non-Institutional Investors (NIIs) fully subscribed their quota, and the retail investor category witnessed a 3.17 times subscription.
