Atlanta Electricals Limited is launching its Initial Public Offering (IPO) through a book-built issue amounting to ₹687.34 crore. The offering comprises a fresh issue of approximately 0.53 crore equity shares, raising ₹400 crore, and an Offer for Sale (OFS) of around 0.38 crore shares, aggregating ₹287.34 crore.
The net proceeds from the fresh issue will be directed towards specific strategic and operational objectives. Approximately ₹79.12 crore will be used to repay or prepay certain outstanding borrowings, helping the company strengthen its balance sheet and reduce interest costs.
An additional ₹210 crore will be allocated to meet the company’s working capital requirements, ensuring smoother day-to-day operations and support for future growth. The remaining funds will be utilised for general corporate purposes, including potential investments and business expansion.
Incorporated in 1988, Atlanta Electricals Limited is a leading manufacturer of a diverse range of transformers, including power, auto, and inverter-duty transformers. Over the years, the company has established itself as a trusted name in the power equipment sector.
As of March 31, 2025, the company’s product portfolio comprises six main transformer categories: power transformers, inverter-duty transformers, furnace transformers, generator transformers, auto transformers, and special-duty transformers. These products cater to a wide customer base that includes state electricity boards, national grids, private enterprises, and renewable energy projects.

Atlanta Electricals serves clients across 19 states and 3 union territories in India. It has supplied over 4,400 transformers, amounting to a cumulative capacity of 94,000 MVA. This extensive distribution highlights the company’s significant contribution to India’s energy infrastructure.
