While an official release date for the 21st instalment is yet to be announced, news reports suggest that the Centre has already initiated early disbursement of funds to certain states affected by floods and landslides in September.
Farmers in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, and Uttarakhand have reportedly received their instalments under the DBT system. The Jammu and Kashmir beneficiaries also received their payment on October 7.

The government has made it mandatory for farmers to complete e-KYC to be eligible for the benefits. As per the official PM-Kisan website, “eKYC is mandatory for PMKISAN Registered Farmers. OTP-based eKYC is available on the PMKISAN Portal or at the nearest CSC centre for biometric verification.”
Farmers need their Aadhaar number to complete this process. Those who have not finished the verification may face delays or a pending payment status.
