On July 3, 2025, Enviro Infra Engineers share price fell as much as 2.1% to ₹235.10. At 9:30 am, the stock was still down by 1.89% at ₹235.60, while the BSE Sensex traded mostly flat.
The company announced it was the victim of cyber fraud, where criminals impersonated others to transfer money out of its bank accounts. According to the exchange filing, these unauthorised transactions happened between June 27 and July 1, 2025, and were discovered on the night of July 1. The total financial impact is estimated at ₹11.15 crore.
Preliminary checks revealed that a company employee was tricked by cybercriminals. The incident has been reported on the Cyber Crime Portal, and a formal complaint has been filed with the local Cyber Crime Police Station. An investigation is underway.
To show accountability, the company’s executive directors, chairman & whole-time director, and managing director have voluntarily decided to stop taking their salaries until the entire amount lost is recovered.
Enviro Infra Engineers was listed on November 29, 2024. On debut, the stock opened at ₹218 on the BSE and ₹220 on the NSE, reflecting a strong premium of over 47% against the issue price.

Enviro Infra Engineers focuses on designing, building, and maintaining water and wastewater treatment plants for government projects. The company works on sewage treatment plants, common effluent treatment plants, water treatment facilities, and water supply schemes. It is also part of major river rejuvenation efforts, such as the Namami Gange Programme, using advanced technologies like Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) for sustainability.
Enviro Infra has a solid order book and strong finances. It is expanding into clean energy through its subsidiary, exploring solar, hydropower, green hydrogen, and renewable energy solutions. Its strong in-house design and engineering teams help it deliver complex projects efficiently.
