Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) reported its financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2025.
Post the announcement, on May 20, 2025, BEL share price opened at ₹369.40, up from its previous close of ₹363.75. At 9:56 AM, the share price of BEL was trading at ₹362.40, down by 0.37% on the NSE. Notably, the share price hit its 52-week high on May 19 at ₹373.50.
The company recorded a revenue from operations of ₹9,14,959 lakh, supplemented by other income of ₹19,464 lakh, bringing total income to ₹9,34,423 lakh.
This reflects a significant increase compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year, which saw total income of ₹5,95,707 lakh.
BEL's profit for the quarter stood at ₹2,12,702 lakh, showcasing growth over the previous year’s profit of ₹1,31,160 lakh for the same quarter.
For the financial year ended March 31, 2025, BEL posted total income of ₹24,51,111 lakh, comprising ₹23,76,875 lakh from operations and ₹74,236 lakh from other income. This represents a rise compared to the previous fiscal year’s total income of ₹20,93,838 lakh.
Profit for the year stood at ₹5,32,268 lakh, significantly higher than ₹3,98,524 lakh recorded in FY24.
At its Board meeting held on May 19, 2025, BEL recommended a final dividend of ₹0.90 per equity share (90%) of ₹1 each, subject to approval by the shareholders at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
