Bajel Projects Limited has received a new order valued between ₹100 crore and ₹200 crore from a private entity in the energy and power transmission sector, as per the filing. The announcement was made on June 24, 2025, and the order has been categorised under the company's 'Large' project classification.
The order includes the development of a 400 kV Gas Insulated Substation (GIS) and a 765 kV Air Insulated Substation (AIS) extension. Bajel will be responsible for supplying extra high voltage (EHV) equipment, including spares, tools, and auxiliaries.
In addition to supply, the contract covers erection, testing, commissioning (ETC), and related civil works. All installation services will be carried out for the supplied materials and equipment under this project.
The project is scheduled to be completed within 18 months from the date of award. According to Bajel’s internal guidelines, ‘Large’ orders are those with a value between ₹100 crore and ₹200 crore, inclusive of taxes.
The company clarified that none of its promoters or group companies have any interest in the client that awarded the contract. The order also does not fall under related-party transactions.
This development follows another project win last week. Bajel Projects had secured an order worth ₹400 crore or more from PowerGrid Corporation of India Limited through its SPV, MEL Power Transmission Ltd. That project involves a 138 km 400 kV transmission line between Mahan and Rewa in Madhya Pradesh, along with substation extension work.
