The Adani Group has named Sanjay Pugalia as the new Head - Corporate Brand Custodian (CBC), with the role effective from 26 May 2025. He will report directly to Pranav Adani. This move sees him take over from Aman Singh, who had been handling both the CBC and the Chairman's Office since May 2024.

Adani Group Shift in Leadership Roles

Aman Singh, who previously juggled dual responsibilities, will now concentrate solely on his positions as President & Head - Strategy and Chairman’s Office, and as Convenor of the APEX. This transition aims to streamline leadership functions within the organisation.

Sanjay Pugalia’s Extensive Experience

Sanjay Pugalia brings with him over 40 years of experience in journalism, broadcasting, and business news. Before heading NDTV, he held senior roles at CNBCAwaaz, Star News, Zee News, Aaj Tak, Business Standard, and Navbharat Times. Renowned for his editorial acumen and strategic understanding of India’s socio-political and business dynamics, Pugalia is expected to strengthen the Group’s communications strategy. He will continue serving as CEO of AMG Media Networks, which oversees the Group’s media investments, alongside his new CBC role.
