ACME Solar Holdings Limited has announced the successful commissioning of the third phase-comprising 75 MW-of its 300 MW solar power project at Bikaner, Rajasthan. This development follows the earlier activation of Phase I (52.5 MW) and Phase II (112.5 MW), collectively bringing the total operational capacity of the ACME Sikar Solar Private Limited project to 240 MW.
The remaining 60 MW is currently under commissioning. As a result, the company’s total renewable energy portfolio has reached 2,806.4 MW.
The ACME Sikar Solar facility spans approximately 1,300 acres in Bikaner, one of India’s top solar irradiation zones. Energy produced at the site is collected at inverter stations and transmitted to the Bikaner-II grid via a 220 kV single-circuit line. The project is financially backed by PFC Limited and is projected to produce nearly 780 million units of clean energy annually upon full commissioning.
The 300 MW allocation was secured through the SECI-ISTS XVIII scheme at a tariff rate of ₹3.05 per unit, with a Power Purchase Agreement expected shortly. Until then, electricity from the commissioned capacity is being sold on power exchanges at merchant tariffs.
ACME Solar Holdings is a key player in India’s renewable energy sector, managing a total portfolio of 6,970 MW across solar, wind, FDRE, and hybrid solutions. With in-house expertise in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) and O&M (Operations and Maintenance), the company efficiently delivers cost-effective and high-performance projects.
Following this latest commissioning, 2,806.4 MW is now operational, with 4,163.6 MW in development. ACME continues to contribute significantly to India’s green energy ambitions through its strategic, scalable infrastructure.
