Bajaj Finserv Mutual Fund has opened the new fund offer (NFO) of its Low Duration Fund on February 9, 2026. The subscription window will remain open until February 16, 2026, and unit allotment is scheduled for the same day.  

The scheme is open-ended and available under direct and regular plans, with both growth and IDCW options. 

Category and Risk Level 

The fund is classified under the low duration debt category and is marked as “Moderate Risk” on the risk-o-meter.  

It will invest primarily in debt and money market instruments. The portfolio will be managed within a Macaulay duration range of six to twelve months, placing it in the short-term segment of the debt fund space. 

Investment Objective 

As per the scheme details, the fund aims to generate returns through a portfolio of short-term fixed income securities.  

The duration band is intended to keep the portfolio within a limited maturity range. The scheme is positioned as a short-term savings option that combines liquidity with income from debt instruments. 

Fund Managers and Investment Terms 

The scheme will be managed by Nimesh Chandan and Siddharth Chaudhary. The minimum investment amount is ₹5,000.  

There is no entry load and no exit load applicable on the scheme, allowing investors to subscribe or redeem without load-based charges. 

Portfolio Approach 

The fund is expected to hold a mix of short-term corporate bonds, government securities and money market instruments. The strategy will revolve around maintaining the stated duration range while managing credit exposure in line with the moderate risk profile.
