
As per Prime Database report, Mutual funds significantly participated in primary markets in November, investing a total of ₹11,779 crore in 10 initial public offerings (IPOs).
As per the report, strong interest particularly in select companies where investments exceeded ₹1,000 crore.
Billionbrains Garage Ventures led the IPO charts with mutual funds investing ₹4,214 crore for 26.52 crore shares. Pine Labs followed next, attracting ₹2,283 crore worth of investment, with 9.14 crore shares added to fund portfolios.
Tenneco Clean Air India drew ₹1,435 crore, accounting for 2.96 crore shares. Emmvee Photovoltaic Power secured ₹1,025 crore, and mutual funds held 4.72 crore shares. These IPOs alone comprised a majority of the capital deployed for the month.
Other IPOs also saw participation though to a lesser degree. Capillary Technologies India received ₹597 crore with 92.73 lakh shares taken up. Mutual funds invested ₹304 crore in Sudeep Pharma, resulting in holdings of 39.37 lakh shares.
Fujiyama Power Systems secured ₹165 crore with 78.88 lakh shares bought. Excelsoft Technologies and Finbud Financial Services received lower contributions of ₹9.98 crore and ₹6.76 crore respectively, with 8.33 lakh and 4.35 lakh shares held.

November witnessed robust mutual fund activity in the IPO space, with ₹11,779 crore spread across 10 IPOs. The largest recipients included Billionbrains Garage Ventures, Pine Labs, and Tenneco Clean Air India. The data signifies active fund participation in newly listed entities offering diversified sectoral exposure.
