Dream Money, the fintech arm of Dream Sports, has integrated with the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) to distribute mutual funds through the network, as per news reports.
The integration will allow users to access and manage schemes from participating asset management companies linked to ONDC.
ONDC connects multiple buyer and seller applications through a shared digital system. With this arrangement, Dream Money’s mutual fund offerings can be accessed across different consumer apps that operate on the network.
According to ONDC, the shared infrastructure helps reduce distribution costs. It also allows investment products to be offered in smaller ticket sizes, which could make mutual funds more accessible to first-time investors.
Dream Money was launched in May 2025 as part of Dream Sports’ expansion into financial services. The company said the platform has crossed one million users since its launch.
Along with mutual fund investments, the platform plans to add products such as insurance and lending. The integration with ONDC marks one of its early steps in building an investment offering.
Dream Sports, known for its fantasy gaming platform Dream11, has been reshaping its business after regulatory changes affected real-money gaming. The company repositioned itself as a sports entertainment platform focused on second-screen experiences.
The group continues to run other initiatives, including FanCode, Dream Sports AI, the open-source programme Horizon, Dream Set Go, the Dream Sports Foundation and Dream Cricket.
