3M India, the Indian arm of US-based 3M Company, announced a significant reward for its shareholders on Wednesday by declaring a final dividend of ₹160 per share and a special dividend of ₹375 per share. This takes the total dividend payout to ₹535 per share.
The company’s board has fixed July 25, 2025, as the record date to determine eligible shareholders for the payout. The 3M India dividend date is subject to shareholder approval at the company’s upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
For the January–March 2025 quarter, 3M India reported a sharp 58.7% drop in net profit, which stood at ₹71 crore, compared to ₹172.85 crore in the same period last year. Despite the fall in profit, revenue from operations rose to ₹1,198.23 crore, up from ₹1,094.54 crore a year ago.
The company’s EBITDA came in at ₹240 crore, a slight decline of 2% year-on-year. Meanwhile, other income also fell sharply to ₹14 crore, down 53% from ₹30 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY24.
Commenting on the performance, Managing Director Ramesh Ramadurai said, “The company delivered 9.5 % sales growth in the fourth quarter and 6.1 % sales growth for the full year, both versus the prior period.”
3M India Limited is the listed Indian subsidiary of 3M Company, USA, a diversified global technology and science firm. Its parent operates across segments such as Safety and Industrial, Transportation & Electronics, and Consumer.
