The indices continued to show a lack of significant movement, with the Sensex maintaining a level of 66,013.51 and the Nifty 50 holding at 19,809.05. Cipla emerged as the top gainer of the day, experiencing a surge of over 2%, while HCL Technologies claimed the position of the most significant loser, witnessing a decline of 1.8%.

In terms of market breadth, 1933 stocks recorded advances, compared to 1454 stocks that experienced declines, while 192 stocks remained unchanged. Nifty Pharma retained its status as the top-performing sector, exhibiting a gain of more than 1.16%. Conversely, Nifty IT emerged as the weakest sector, trading down by 0.53%.
