The benchmark index S&P BSE 500 opened today at 27,402.95 and made its day high at 27,438.11 and it is currently trading in green, up by around 0.20%.                       

From the same space, these are the top 3 companies that outperformed the benchmark index and were up by more than 4% today.        

Uflex Limited     

Shares of Uflex Limited were trading today with an up move by more than 6.10% on BSE. The scrip closed on Monday at Rs 443.90 and opened today at Rs 450.70 a piece. Shares touched their day high today at Rs 482.95 after the surge. The 52-week high of the stock stood at Rs 749, whereas the 52-week low is Rs 325.20. Presently, promoters are holding a 44.58% stake in the company whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 7.80% and 47.62%, respectively.          

Cochin Shipyard Limited 

Another top player today is Cochin Shipyard Limited. Shares were trading today with an up move by more than 7.5% on BSE today. The stock opened today at Rs 985.80 a piece and touched its day high today at Rs 1,067.00. The 52-week high stood at Rs 1,258, whereas the 52-week low stood at Rs 401.35. One more top gainer today which shot up by more than 4.6% is Kalyan Jewellers India Limited. The stock opened at Rs 205.05 and touched its day high today at Rs 217 after the surge. On Monday the shares closed at Rs 204.20 a piece. The stock has a 52-week high of Rs 261.95 whereas the 52-week low stood at Rs 85.95. Currently, the promoters are holding a 60.55% stake in the company whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 32.26% and 7.20%, respectively.
