Share Market Pre Open Updates – May 06, 2024

On May 03, 2024, Nifty 50 and Sensex slipped 0.76% and 0.98% to 22,475 and 73,878, respectively. Foreign Institutional Investors (FII) sold securities worth around ₹2,391 crore, while domestic investors bought shares worth ₹690 crore.

Top Gainers and Losers

On the sectoral front, Nifty Mid Small Healthcare, Nifty Healthcare aur Nifty Pharma ended in green. Meanwhile, Nifty Realty, Nifty Oil and Gas, Nifty IT, and Nifty Auto were declining. The top gainers were Coal India, Shree Cement, PFC and Torrent Pharma, which showed positive movement. On the other hand, SRF, L&T, Maruti and Trent were the top losers of the day.

Blue Dart and Hindustan Zinc were in the news on May 03, 2024.

• The logistics sector player released its FY2024 earnings, in which it recorded a 12% YoY growth in net profit to ₹77.78 crore. As a result, Blue Dart’s share price zoomed 9%.
• The share price of Hindustan Zinc touched its fresh 52-week high at ₹464 and the stock has gained 44% so far in 2024.
