KPI Green Energy Reports Stellar Q4 Results; Boosts Renewable Sector

The domestic markets rallied on the first trading session of the week, thanks to positive global cues and good corporate earnings by key stocks. The broader market witnessed strong buying interest after good institutional inflow and positive investor sentiment. 

Meanwhile, KPI Green Energy (NSE Code – KPIGREEN) has reported stellar Q4 numbers for FY2022-23. 

In its latest quarterly results filing, the company reported a massive 143% YoY jump in revenues to Rs 184.4 crore as compared to Rs 75.7 crore for March 2022. Also, net profits doubled on a YoY basis to Rs 36.7 crore from Rs 18.3 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year. Interestingly, the company has generated a substantial operating cash flow of Rs 159.38 crore for FY22-23 as against Rs 102.38 crore for the previous financial year, which is deemed the best in the industry. 

Along with this, the company had earlier reported the bagging of a solar power plant project. The project shall consist of generating 7.27 MW capacity through KPI Green Energy and 2.91 MW through its subsidiary KPIG Energia. 

On Monday, the shares of KPIGREEN traded flat and hit the intraday high and low of Rs 503.35 and Rs 486.65, respectively. 

On a YTD basis, the stock has gained 12.74% while in the past one year, it has generated about 127.74% returns to its investors.
