In a landmark development for India’s growing artificial intelligence landscape, 10 promising Indian AI startups have been selected to participate in the IndiaAI Startups Global Initiative 2025. This international acceleration programme, led by the IndiaAI Mission under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, offers a strategic platform to help these startups expand globally. The initiative is being executed in collaboration with Station F in Paris and HEC Paris, one of Europe’s leading business schools.
This opportunity allows the selected startups to scale their operations, access new markets and forge valuable international alliances. The programme reflects India's rising commitment to innovation diplomacy and the strategic global positioning of its AI ecosystem.
Union Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw emphasised the significance of the initiative by highlighting its alignment with India's broader AI diplomacy goals. He noted that the Prime Minister's participation in the AI Action Summit in February 2024 demonstrated India’s commitment to influencing global AI standards and fostering collaborative innovation. The Minister stated that this programme will enable India’s AI startups to create scalable solutions with global relevance.
The IndiaAI Startups Global Initiative is a key element of the broader IndiaAI Mission. Shri Abhishek Singh, Additional Secretary of MeitY and CEO of the IndiaAI Mission, described it as a bridge between India's AI talent and the global innovation ecosystem. The initiative is designed to provide selected startups with global exposure, mentorship, and business development support.
This 4-month programme includes an online preparation phase followed by an intensive 3-month residency in Paris. During this residency, participants will gain access to experts, investors and potential collaborators across Europe.
The acceleration programme is operated by Station F and HEC Paris. Station F is the world's largest startup campus located in Paris and is known for its robust support system for entrepreneurs. HEC Paris, a prestigious European business school, brings its deep expertise in startup development to the initiative.
The programme will help startups engage with European stakeholders and explore long-term business opportunities in international markets. With structured mentorship, networking sessions and market exposure, the initiative aims to turn these startups into global AI leaders.
