On Monday, June 30, 2025, the Indian benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty 50 are expected to open higher, following upbeat global market cues, on easing Israel-Iran conflict and optimism over the US-China trade deal. Check out a few stocks that might be in focus during the trading session.

Tata Steel

Tata Steel has received a show cause-cum-demand notice from the GST audit department regarding irregular Input Tax Credit (ITC) claims spanning FY2018–19 to FY2022–23. The total tax demand amounts to ₹1,007.54 crore.

Titagarh Rail Systems

A consortium comprising Titagarh Rail Systems and its associate Titagarh Firema S.p.A has secured a contract worth ₹430.53 crore. The order involves the design, manufacturing, supply, testing, and commissioning of 12 EMU (Electrical Multiple Units) passenger trains for the Pune Metro, along with personnel training.

Torrent Pharmaceuticals

Torrent Pharma has announced its decision to acquire a controlling stake in JB Chemicals. It will acquire 74.48 million shares (46.39%) for ₹11,917 crore from Tau Investment Holdings Pte. Ltd. Additionally, Torrent may purchase up to 2.8% equity from certain JB Chemicals employees at a price not exceeding ₹1,600 per share. An open offer will also be made for a 26% stake at ₹1,639.18 per share.

Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL)

BHEL has bagged a domestic order from Adani Power Ltd, receiving a Letter of Award for six thermal units of 800 MW each. The total contract value is approximately ₹6,500 crore.

NTPC

NTPC Green Energy, a subsidiary of NTPC, has commenced commercial operations of the final 120 MW capacity (Unit-II) of its 220 MW Shajapur Solar Project located in Madhya Pradesh.

Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL)

RVNL has been selected as the lowest bidder for a project involving OHE system upgradation. The scope includes design, supply, testing, and commissioning of a 2X25kV feeder system in the Duvvada-Rajahmundry and Samalkot-Kakinada Port sections. The project is valued at ₹213.22 crore.
