Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, has received additional orders worth ₹585 crore since June 5, 2025. The company shared this update in an exchange filing dated June 20, 2025.

These orders include fire control and sighting systems for missiles, communication equipment, jammers, spares, and related services.

BEL Order History

Earlier in the month, on June 4, 2025, BEL announced contracts valued at ₹537 crore. These covered communication systems, shipborne equipment, jammers, software, simulators, test rigs, and support items. On top of this, the company secured a larger ₹2,323 crore order for supplying base and depot-level spares for missile systems onboard Indian Navy ships. This order was placed by Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders and Garden Reach Shipbuilders.

Partnership with Tata Electronics

On June 6, 2025, BEL signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Tata Electronics. The agreement focuses on developing solutions in semiconductors and advanced electronics. This includes areas like chip design, OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Testing), and fabrication units. The collaboration is to support domestic capacity in electronics manufacturing.

Drone Detection System Agreement

BEL also signed a contract with the Indian Army Air Defence for the Integrated Drone Detection and Interdiction System (IDDIS). The system was jointly developed with the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and is meant to detect and neutralise drone threats.

In addition to its core defence work, BEL is involved in projects across homeland security, cybersecurity, space electronics, rail and metro solutions, and medical electronics. The company continues to expand its reach in both defence and non-defence sectors.

With these latest updates, BEL’s total order value for June 2025 stands at close to ₹3,500 crore.

BEL Share Price Performance 

Bharat Electronics share price closed at ₹407.05 on June 20, 2025, up 2.13% for the day, with the shares gaining 38.29% over the past 6 months and 33.48% over the past year.
