On June 18, 2025, Samvardhana Motherson shares are in focus ahead of its board meeting, scheduled for June 19, as the D-street is awaiting the record date for the bonus issue.

On May 29, Samvardhana Motherson said in an exchange filing, “The board approved bonus shares in the ratio of 1:2, i.e., 1 equity share of Re. 1/- each as a bonus share fully paid-up, for every 2 existing equity shares of Re. 1/- each, subject to approval of shareholders through Postal Ballot. The bonus shares shall rank pari-passu in all respects and carry the same rights as existing equity shares of the Company.”

Samvardhana has maintained a consistent bonus issuance pattern over the years, offering bonus shares in a 1:2 ratio on multiple occasions. The most recent bonus was declared on October 3, 2022, following similar issuances on July 5, 2017; December 20, 2013; October 3, 2012; and November 15, 2000. In each instance, shareholders received one bonus share for every two shares held, reflecting the company’s steady approach to rewarding its investors.
