RITES Ltd, a leading transport infrastructure consultancy and engineering company, has received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from the Ministry of Public Works, Co-operative Republic of Guyana.
The contract pertains to Construction Supervision for the Extension of the East Bank–East Coast Road Project Phase 2 (Eccles to Providence), along with additional responsibilities for an ongoing assignment.
The nature of the contract involves end-to-end construction supervision services. The scope includes overseeing the extension of a critical infrastructure corridor in Guyana, aimed at improving connectivity and easing traffic congestion in the region. The total contract period includes 18 months of construction supervision followed by a 12-month Defects Liability Period, ensuring long-term quality assurance.
The contract value is pegged at USD 2,908,824.5 (excluding taxes), signifying another important international engagement for RITES Ltd. The project reinforces the company's growing footprint in overseas markets, especially in South America.
Awarded by an international entity, this assignment not only represents RITES’ expanding global presence but also showcases its ability to deliver complex consultancy services across geographies. The execution of the project will span a total of 30 months, combining both construction supervision and defect liability phases.
On June 10, 2025, RITES share price opened at ₹305.95, up from its previous close of ₹302.25. At 9:38 AM, the share price of Rites was trading at ₹303.85, up by 0.53% on the NSE.
