Raymond Realty Share Performance

On the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), Raymond Realty shares opened at ₹1,005 each, slightly below the discovered price of ₹1,031.30. However, the stock quickly rallied to reach the day’s peak of ₹1,055.20, touching the maximum allowable 5% price increase.

Similarly, on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), shares began trading at ₹1,000, a little lower than the discovered price of ₹1,039.30. Nevertheless, the stock followed a comparable upward trajectory and hit the 5% upper circuit limit of ₹1,050.

Strategic Demerger as Part of ‘Raymond 2.0’

The demerger of Raymond Realty aligns with the Raymond Group’s broader transformation plan, marking its 100th anniversary. In a letter to shareholders, Singhania described the initiative as part of ‘Raymond 2.0,’ aiming to create focused, pure-play companies in apparel, real estate, and engineering services. This strategic move is designed to unlock greater shareholder value by allowing each business segment to operate independently.
