The National Stock Exchange (NSE) of India is set to expand its derivatives landscape with the inclusion of 4 new stocks in its futures and options (F&O) segment from June 27, 2025.
The National Stock Exchange (NSE) of India will introduce futures and options (F&O) contracts for four new stocks starting June 27, 2025. These include 360 One Wam Ltd, Amber Enterprises India Ltd, Kfin Technologies Ltd, and PG Electroplast Ltd. This development will be subject to the fulfilment of eligibility criteria under the quarter sigma computation cycle.
The selection of stocks for inclusion in the derivatives segment is governed by guidelines established by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). Only stocks that are ranked among the top 500 by average market capitalisation and trading activity are considered.
These factors are assessed on a rolling 6-month basis. The liquidity and trading interest in these stocks must meet minimum standards, and the stocks should exhibit a robust market presence. The decision to include these four stocks highlights their improved liquidity and growing relevance among market participants.
360 One Wam is a prominent wealth management firm providing financial advisory and asset management solutions to high-net-worth individuals and institutions. The company’s client-centric model and strong presence in the wealth advisory landscape make it a significant player in its category.
Amber Enterprises is a key manufacturer within the electronics and consumer durables sector. The company is known for its contract manufacturing services, especially for air conditioning systems and components used in various electronic devices.
Kfin Technologies is a technology-enabled financial services company offering registrar and transfer agency services. Its clientele includes mutual fund houses and corporate entities. Kfin’s role in the backend operations of investment platforms makes it a critical infrastructure provider in the financial services ecosystem.
PG Electroplast operates in the electronics manufacturing services space, focusing on white goods and consumer appliances. It provides components for air conditioners, washing machines, LED televisions and other consumer electronics, supporting various domestic and international brands.
The inclusion of these four companies in the F&O segment underscores their growing prominence and market liquidity. As these stocks become part of the derivatives market, traders gain additional tools for risk management and speculation. The move also reflects broader participation and institutional interest in these firms.
With this expansion, NSE continues to deepen its derivatives offerings, providing more instruments for investors to navigate market movements and manage portfolio exposure efficiently.
