On Monday, June 16, 2025, the Indian benchmark index Nifty 50 opened at 24,732.35 and was at 24,751.00, up by 0.13%, as of 10:06 AM. As of the same time, it touched the day’s high so far at 24,817.65 and day’s low at 24,703.60. 

Nifty Next 50 and Nifty Midcap Select were in the red, down by 0.55% and 0.53%, respectively, while Nifty Financial Services was in the green. 

5 Nifty 50 Top Gainers

The top 5 gainers on the Nifty 50 stocks are, Cipla, ONGC, Power Grid, SBI Life Insurance Company and UltraTech Cement. These stocks were trading up 1.76%, 1.71%, 1.19%, 0.92% and 0.83%, respectively.

5 Nifty 50 Top Losers

The top 5 losers on the Nifty 50 stocks are, Tata Motors, Jio Financial Services, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Adani Enterprises and Coal India. These stocks were trading down by 4.67%, 1.55%, 1.24%, 0.65% and 0.60%, respectively.

Sectoral Performance: Nifty Private Bank Leads

As of 10:13 AM, Nifty IT, Nifty FMCG and Nifty Oil & Gas were trading in the green, up by 0.42%, 0.07% and 0.02%, respectively. The other indices were in red.
