Mahindra Aerostructures Pvt Ltd (MASPL), part of the Mahindra Group, has signed a multi-year contract worth approximately $300 million (₹2,585 crore) with Spanish aerospace company Aernnova. The agreement covers the production of metal sub-assemblies and components for various aircraft manufactured by Airbus and Embraer.
The components will be used across several aircraft platforms. This includes Airbus commercial aircraft and Embraer’s C390 Millennium, a military transport aircraft. The parts will be manufactured in India and supplied to Aernnova’s facilities in Spain, the United Kingdom, Portugal, and Brazil.
Deliveries under this contract will serve multiple Aernnova production sites. These sites span 4 countries and support both commercial and defence aircraft programs. The work will be carried out at MASPL’s manufacturing facility in India.
MASPL and Aernnova have worked together since 2013. In 2020, Aernnova acquired Hamble Aerostructures, a UK-based customer of MASPL. This acquisition led to a deeper working relationship. The new contract builds on this and is a result of multiple rounds of discussion over the years.
Aernnova had contributed to the development of MASPL’s manufacturing facility during its initial phase. This included input on plant design and workforce training. The companies have since continued exploring ways to expand their cooperation, leading to this formal agreement.

Under the agreement, MASPL will be responsible for industrialising and delivering the components as per Aernnova’s requirements. Both companies will work together on technical aspects through ongoing support from Aernnova’s engineering teams.
This agreement adds export-focused work to MASPL’s operations in India. It formalises a long-standing relationship between the 2 companies and extends MASPL’s role in global aerospace manufacturing.
