The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd (IRCTC) has announced its audited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and financial year ended March 31, 2025. The company has shown growth in revenue and profits while also declaring a final dividend.
For the quarter ended March 31, 2025, IRCTC reported a total income of ₹1,32,968.71 lakh (consolidated), up from ₹1,18,435.19 lakh in the same quarter last year. The profit after tax (PAT) from continuing operations stood at ₹35,822.91 lakh, marking a rise compared to ₹28,418.14 lakh in Q4 FY24.
This demonstrates a year-on-year growth in profitability, reflecting operational efficiency and sustained demand for IRCTC's services in catering, tourism, and ticketing.
For the full year ended March 31, 2025, IRCTC clocked a total income of ₹4,90,385.13 lakh, compared to ₹4,42,469.12 lakh in FY 2023-24. The net profit after tax from continuing operations was ₹1,31,490.24 lakh, a significant increase from ₹1,11,107.79 lakh in the previous year.
IRCTC's Board has recommended a final dividend of ₹1 per equity share (50% of face value) for FY 2024-25. This is in addition to the interim dividends already paid, ₹4 per share in November 2024 and ₹3 per share in March 2025, bringing the total dividend payout to ₹8 per share for the year, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming AGM.
On May 29, 2025, IRCTC share price opened at ₹800.00, up from its previous close of ₹776.35. At 9:36 AM, the share price of IRCTC was trading at ₹778.65, up by 0.30% on the NSE.
