Ircon International Limited has received 2 separate orders on July 18, 2025, from domestic government bodies. One contract was awarded by Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) for a railway infrastructure project in Madhya Pradesh. The other was issued by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) for metro-related system works under Mumbai Metro Line 6.
The RVNL contract covers civil and general electrical works for the construction of a new broad-gauge railway line between Pipaliya Nankar (Excl.) and Budni (Incl.) stations. The location falls within the Indore–Budni section of the Bhopal Division under West Central Railway.
The total value of the contract is ₹755.78 crore, including GST. IRCON’s share, through a joint venture with JPWIPL (70:30), amounts to ₹529.04 crore. The agreement was awarded under an item rate contract.
The scope includes the construction of roadbeds, minor bridges, buildings, and track installation works, excluding the supply of rails, sleepers, and thick web switches. The execution period is 36 months, with an additional six months for the defect liability phase.

The 2nd contract from MMRDA relates to the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of traction, power supply systems, lifts, escalators, and other components. The work falls under CA-233, Line-6, Package-2 of the Mumbai Metro project.
The total contract value is ₹642.44 crore plus €2.78 million. The design-build period is 104 weeks, followed by a 2-year defect liability period and 5 years of comprehensive maintenance. The corridor runs between Swami Samarth Nagar and Vikhroli (EEH).
Both contracts were disclosed under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015. As per the reports, IRCON confirmed that these contracts do not fall under related party transactions, and no promoter group has any interest in the awarding entities.
As of 9:30 AM on July 21, 2025, Ircon International share price was trading at ₹191.72, a 2.58% increase, and has declined 12.63% over the past 6 months and 41.45% over the past year.
