HDFC Bank has set June 27, 2025, as the record date for its final dividend. On April 19, 2025, the HDFC Bank board recommended a ₹22 final dividend. 

HDFC Bank said in an exchange filing, “The Board also recommended a dividend of Rs. 22 per equity share of Re. 1/- each fully paid up (i.e. 2200 %) for the FY 2024-25, subject to the approval of the shareholders. The record date for determining the eligibility of members entitled to receive the said dividend is Friday, June 27, 2025.”. 

What Does HDFC Bank Dividend Record Date Mean for Shareholders?

As HDFC Bank has set June 27 as the record date for its final dividend, meaning that June 26 marks the last day to buy HDFC Bank shares to become eligible for the final and special dividend. Further, any shares bought on or after June 27 (record date), won't be eligible for the final dividend due to T+1 settlement rule.

HDFC Bank Q4FY25 Earnings Highlights

For the quarter ended March 31, 2025, the Bank reported a consolidated net revenue of ₹732.8 billion. Consolidated profit after tax (PAT) for the quarter stood at ₹188.3 billion. After adjusting for trading and mark-to-market gains, as well as one-time provisions and tax credits from the previous year, the underlying PAT reflected a robust year-on-year growth of approximately 10%.

For the full financial year ended March 31, 2025, consolidated PAT reached ₹707.9 billion. Earnings per share (EPS) were ₹24.6 for the quarter and ₹92.8 for the full year. The book value per share as of March 31, 2025, stood at ₹681.9, underscoring the Bank’s strong capital position and consistent value creation for shareholders.
