On July 19, 2025, HDFC Bank declared a special interim dividend of ₹5 per share along with the results for the quarter ended June 30, 2025. The bank fixed July 25, 2025, as the record date for the interim dividend.

HDFC Bank said in an exchange filing, “A Special Interim Dividend of Rs. 5 per equity share of Re. 1/- each fully paid up (i.e. 500%), for the FY 2025-26. The record date for determining the eligibility of Members entitled to receive the said Special Interim Dividend is Friday, July 25, 2025. The Special Interim Dividend shall be paid to the eligible Members on Monday, August 11, 2025.”

HDFC Bank has consistently rewarded its shareholders with dividends over the years. In 2025, the bank declared a special dividend of ₹5.00 with an ex-date of July 25, followed by a regular dividend of ₹22.00 on June 27. The previous year, in 2024, shareholders received a final dividend of ₹19.50 on May 10. In 2023 and 2022, the final dividends stood at ₹19.00 and ₹15.50, declared on May 16 and May 12, respectively. This pattern reflects the bank's stable and progressively increasing dividend payouts.
