GMR Airports Limited (formerly GMR Airports Infrastructure Limited) released audited financial results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2025.

Passenger Traffic Growth

GMR Airports Limited (GAL) has posted impressive passenger traffic growth at its key airport hubs for the quarter and fiscal year ended March 31, 2025.

Delhi Airport recorded 20.6 million passengers in Q4 FY25 and a total of 79.3 million for the full year, reflecting strong demand and operational resilience. Similarly, Hyderabad Airport saw 7.8 million passengers in Q4 and 29.5 million in FY25.

Overall, total passenger traffic across GAL-owned airports rose 9% year-over-year (YoY) to 31.5 million in Q4 and 120.5 million in FY25, showcasing the group’s successful capacity expansion and growing market presence.

Revenue and EBITDA Expansion

The company reported total income of ₹2,977 crore in Q4 FY25, marking a 16% YoY increase. For the full fiscal year, total income climbed 18% to ₹10,836 crore, driven by higher passenger volumes and improved commercial revenues.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) also showed solid growth, rising 19% YoY to ₹1,123 crore in Q4 and 22.5% YoY to ₹4,188 crore for FY25.

Profit After Tax and Dividend Update

GAL reported a net loss after tax from continuing operations of ₹253 crore in Q4 FY25 compared to a profit of ₹202 crore in Q3. For the full year, the company posted a loss of ₹817 crore, broadly in line with the previous year’s loss of ₹829 crore, reflecting continued investments and non-operating expenses.

On a positive note, GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd, a GAL subsidiary, declared an interim dividend of ₹7.5 per share, totalling ₹283.5 crore, signalling confidence in its cash flow generation.

On May 23, 2025, GMR Airports share price opened at ₹89.70, up from its previous close of ₹88.95. At 9:30 AM, the share price of GMR Airports was trading at ₹86.62, down by 2.62% on the NSE.
