Enviro Infra Engineers Ltd (EIEL) has received a ₹400 crore order from Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) for upgrading effluent treatment facilities, as per the reports. The project is part of efforts to reduce industrial pollution in the Kolhapur district.
The upgrade will be carried out at Common Effluent Treatment Plants (CETPs) located in the industrial estates of Ichalkaranji, Hatkanangale, and Yadrav. These plants currently manage wastewater from multiple small-scale industrial units.
This is EIEL’s first project in the Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) space. It includes the installation of advanced technologies such as ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis (RO), and multiple vapor recompression (MVR) to treat and reuse wastewater.
The project will involve design, supply, installation, construction, testing, commissioning, operations and maintenance. It is scheduled to be completed within 24 months from the start date.
The initiative falls under MIDC’s Panchganga River pollution abatement programme. The river has faced prolonged pollution due to untreated or partially treated industrial wastewater.

EIEL has its own teams for civil construction, design, and engineering. It also manages post-commissioning operations and maintenance for projects awarded by public sector clients.
The company has been working in the water and wastewater treatment sector for over 15 years. Its work includes sewage treatment plants, water supply schemes, and CETPs for government authorities.
As of 11:15 AM on July 11, 2025, Enviro Infra Engineers share price was trading at ₹276.30, a 12.68% increase.
The ₹400 crore project adds ZLD capability to EIEL’s portfolio and expands its presence in Maharashtra. It is part of a broader plan to improve industrial wastewater management and river health in the region.
