Cummins India Ltd has been gaining attention on Friday as well after the financial results for FY25 are announced on Wednesday.
On May 30, 2025, Cummins India share price opened at ₹3,189.00, up from its previous close of ₹3,169.40. At 10:10 AM, the share price of Cummins India was trading at ₹3,275.00, up by 3.33% on the NSE. As of the same time, the stock touched its day’s high so far at ₹3,289.10.
The positive momentum began on May 29 itself, the day the financial results for the quarter and financial year ended March 31, 2025, were announced. The stock opened at ₹3,000.10, rising from its previous close of ₹2,976.10. It quickly gained traction to touch an intraday high of ₹3,207.70, which also marked its highest point in the past month.
On a standalone basis, the company reported a 15% year-on-year increase in total sales to ₹10,166 crore. Domestic sales grew by 18% to ₹8,395 crore, while export sales rose by 6% to ₹1,771 crore. Profit before tax rose by 16% to ₹2,496 crore, and profit after tax increased by 15% to ₹1,906 crore.
For Q4FY25, total sales stood at ₹2,414 crore, a 6% increase year-on-year. While domestic sales were nearly flat with a 1% rise, export sales surged 39% over the same period last year. Profit before tax for the quarter stood at ₹681 crore, marginally down 3% year-on-year but up 2% quarter-on-quarter.
Cummins India Ltd, a subsidiary of Cummins Inc. USA, designs, manufactures, distributes, and services diesel and alternative fuel engines ranging from 2.8 to 100 litres. The company also offers diesel and alternative-fueled power generator sets of up to 3000 kW (3750 kVA), along with related components and technologies.
