Crisil Declares ₹9 Dividend as Q2 FY25 Profit Rises 14% YoY

Crisil Ltd.’s board, in its meeting held on July 22, 2025, approved a second interim dividend of ₹9 per equity share (face value ₹1) for the financial year ending December 31, 2025. The dividend will be credited on August 8, 2025.

Earlier in April 2025, the company had announced its first interim dividend of ₹8 per share, with a record date of May 7, 2025. Crisil is known for its strong dividend track record, distributing ₹56 per share in FY24.

Crisil Q2 FY25 Results Overview

For the April-June 2025 quarter (Q2 FY25), Crisil reported a consolidated net profit of ₹171.6 crore, marking a 14.3% increase compared to ₹150.1 crore in Q2 FY24. Profit before tax rose 8.2% YoY to ₹225 crore.

Crisil's income from operations rose 5.7% YoY to ₹843 crore, while total income reached ₹866.6 crore, a 6.3% increase over the previous year.

Crisil H1 FY25 Performance

For the half year ended June 30, 2025, Crisil’s total income grew 8.6% YoY to ₹1,710.3 crore. Net profit rose 15.1% to ₹331.4 crore, compared to ₹287.8 crore in H1 FY24. Profit before tax climbed 12.1% to ₹452.2 crore.
