On Friday, July 4, 2025, is the record date for shareholders of Container Corporation of India (Concor) to qualify for the company’s upcoming 1:4 bonus issue. Investors who already held the stock in their demat accounts before today are eligible for the bonus shares.

T+1 Settlement Rule

Due to India’s T+1 settlement cycle, investors had to buy the shares by July 3 for the transaction to be reflected in their demat accounts by today. Buying the stock on July 4 will not make you eligible for the bonus allotment.

Concor Bonus Issue Ratio and Dates

Concor will issue one bonus share for every four shares held. The bonus shares will be allotted on July 7 and will become available for trading on July 8, 2025. The last bonus issue by the company was in February 2019, also in a 1:4 ratio. For example, if you have 40 shares, you will get 10 bonus shares.

The Union government holds a 54.8% stake in Concor. As per the latest data, retail investors with investments of up to ₹2 lakh own 4.52% of the company.

Concor has paid two dividends so far this year—a ₹4.25 interim dividend in February and a ₹2 final dividend in June.
