Capri Global Capital Limited (also known as Capri Loans), a well-established non-banking financial company (NBFC), has successfully raised ₹2,000 crore through a Qualified Institutions Placement (QIP).

This fundraise, which marks its first QIP in the last 10 years, involved the issuance of approximately 13.65 crore equity shares to qualified institutional buyers, in compliance with SEBI's ICDR regulations. The QIP Committee approved the pricing and allotment on June 12, 2025.

Strong Investor Confidence Reflects Growth Potential

The QIP received an enthusiastic response from a wide base of institutional investors, both domestic and international. This includes top-tier names such as Quant Mutual Fund, BlackRock, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, HDFC Life Insurance, SBI General Insurance, and TATA AIF, among others. Their participation highlights strong market confidence in Capri Global’s financial strength, execution capability, and long-term strategy.

Fresh Capital to Fuel Expansion and Innovation

According to Managing Director Rajesh Sharma, the newly raised capital will be strategically used to scale lending operations across key sectors, enhance the company’s presence in new geographies, and invest in AI and data science capabilities.
