BEML Limited has attracted investor attention after it announced that its Board of Directors will convene a meeting on Monday, July 21, 2025. A key item on the agenda is the sub-division or split of equity shares, as per Section 61(1)(d) of the Companies Act, 2013. This indicates a potential move to make the stock more affordable and liquid by increasing the number of outstanding shares while reducing the face value per share.
Investors will be keenly watching the outcome of the meeting for further details such as the split ratio and record date.
On July 14, 2025, BEML share price opened at ₹4,500.00, up from its previous close of ₹4,428.90. At 10:41 AM, the share price of BEML was trading at ₹4,490.00, up by 1.38% on the NSE. The stock price touched its day’s high so far at ₹4,530.00.
Earlier this month, on July 4, the company announced the receipt of two significant export orders totaling ~USD 6.23 million. The first order is from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region for the supply of Heavy Duty Bulldozers, reinforcing BEML’s global presence in the construction and mining equipment segment.
The second order, a maiden deal from Uzbekistan, is for the supply of high-performance Motor Graders, marking BEML’s entry into a new international market. These export wins highlight the company's growing footprint and competitiveness in overseas markets and align with its strategic focus on expanding global operations in the defence and heavy engineering sectors.
