Public sector company BEML Limited reported a 12% year-on-year (YoY) rise in net profit for the fourth quarter of FY25. For the January–March 2025 period, the company's profit stood at ₹287.55 crore, up from ₹256.80 crore in the same quarter last year.
BEML’s consolidated revenue from operations increased by 9% YoY to ₹1,652.53 crore, compared to ₹1,513.65 crore in Q4 FY24. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, revenue jumped 89% from ₹857.77 crore in Q3 FY25. Compared to the same quarter last year, revenue surged more than 1,000% from ₹24.41 crore.
BEML said its board has postponed the decision on the final dividend for FY25. However, earlier this month, the company declared a second interim dividend of ₹15 per share for FY25. The record date for this dividend was set as May 15, 2025.
BEML has declared a total equity dividend of ₹35.50 per share in the past 12 months.
BEML Limited, earlier known as Bharat Earth Movers Limited, is a government-owned company in India that produces a wide range of heavy machinery. Its products are used in areas like earth moving, mining, railways, and transportation. Headquartered in Bangalore, BEML is recognised as the second-largest maker of earth-moving equipment in Asia.

BEML share price increased by up to 4.4% in intraday trade on the BSE, hitting a high of ₹3,789. The day’s low was ₹3,600.40. Over the past 3 months, the stock has climbed 43%, and it has risen 18% in the last 1 month.
BEML's strong Q4 performance highlights its steady growth and operational strength. While the board has delayed the final dividend, the robust earnings and interim payouts reflect the company’s healthy financial position.
