On January 28, 2025, Bank of India share price traded 2.59% higher at ₹107 at 10:30 AM (IST), while the BSE benchmark Sensex jumped 355.03 points to 75,721.20. Bank of India’s share price reached a 52-week high of ₹158 on April 30, 2024, and a 52-week low of ₹90 on January 13, 2025. As per BSE, the total traded volume for the stock stood at 8.47 lakh shares with a turnover of ₹9.10 crore.

At the current price, Bank of India shares are trading at a price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of 6.07x, based on its trailing 12-month earnings per share (EPS) of ₹17.64, and a price-to-book (P/B) ratio of 0.68, according to exchange data.

Shareholding Details

As of December 31, 2024, promoters held a 73.38% stake in Bank of India shares, while Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) owned 2.92%, and Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) held 16.40%.

Bank of India Q3 FY25 Results

A public sector bank reported strong financial performance in the third quarter of FY2024-25 (Q3FY25), with net profit rising year-on-year (YoY) to ₹2,517 crore, compared to ₹1,870 crore in Q3FY24. Sequentially, net profit grew to ₹2,374 crore in Q2FY25.

The bank’s operating profit saw a YoY increase to ₹3,703 crore, although it declined from ₹4,147 crore recorded in the previous quarter.

Net Interest Income (NII) for Q3FY25 rose YoY to ₹6,070 crore, up from ₹5,463 crore in Q3FY24, and marginally higher than ₹5,986 crore in Q2FY25. Additionally, NII from specific operations surged YoY to ₹1,746 crore, though it was lower than ₹2,518 crore in Q2FY25.

Operating expenses in Q3FY25 stood at ₹4,114 crore, up from ₹3,653 crore in Q3FY24 but lower than ₹4,355 crore in the previous quarter.
