On Tuesday, July 22, Colab Platforms Limited, a BSE-listed sports tech and gaming company, caught market attention by hitting the upper circuit despite a sideways market, following stellar FY25 growth results and strategic moves in sports management and digital commerce sectors.

Colab Platforms FY25 Earnings Performance

In FY2024-25, Colab Platforms reported consolidated total revenue of ₹70.05 crore, a remarkable 3006% jump from ₹2.25 crore in the preceding year. Net profit climbed to ₹2.86 crore, a 60.4% increase over last year’s ₹1.78 crore. The company’s Q4 FY25 results notably impressed, with revenue surging 7638% to ₹20.49 crore and quarterly PAT rising 379% to ₹95.3 lakh.

Promoter and Public Shareholding Pattern

As per the latest shareholding pattern for June 30, 2025, promoter and promoter group own 33.88% (69,108,400 shares) of the company, held entirely by Skybridge Incap Advisory LLP. The public holds the majority at 66.12% (134,891,600 shares), comprising individuals, corporates, LLPs, and HUF investors, demonstrating strong market-wide participation and confidence.

Strategic Expansion Fuels Market Optimism

Colab Platforms made major moves: entering the ₹15,766 crore sports management and tech sector, acquiring the Northern Challengers cricket team, and launching a dedicated sports and fitness marketplace. Its foray into predictive gaming addresses a ₹50,000 crore industry, while the new ₹250 million Sports-Tech Growth Accelerator targets early-stage Indian startups. These initiatives set the stage for further expansion and innovation, positioning Colab Platforms as a driving force in India's evolving sports and e-commerce landscape.

Colab Platforms Share Price Performance

On July 22, 2025, Colab Platforms share price opened at ₹47.58 on BSE, above the previous close of ₹46.65. The stock is trading at ₹47.58 as of 10:27 AM. The stock hit an upper circuit of 1.99%.

Interestingly, the stock has been hitting back-to-back upper circuits. Over the past month, it has moved up by 52.55%.
