Adani Airport Holdings Ltd (AAHL) has taken a significant step towards enhancing passenger convenience by launching a digital lounge access feature.
This new offering directly integrates lounge access through the airport’s own platform, bypassing the traditional third-party intermediaries and ensuring a more seamless experience.
AAHL’s CEO, Arun Bansal, officially announced the rollout of this new feature, developed in-house by the company’s Digital Lab team. The service allows passengers to book and use airport lounges directly from Adani Airports’ digital platform.
By cutting out the intermediaries, the group aims to simplify access and improve user satisfaction with one-stop booking and entry solutions at their airports across India.
The direct lounge access system is part of Adani Airports’ broader mission to digitally transform its passenger services. With this innovation, the group aligns with the nationwide push for digitisation, driven by platforms like Unified Payments Interface (UPI), which have contributed heavily to modernising consumer experiences.

CEO Bansal stressed the role of self-disruption in the tech ecosystem, stating that survival depends on continuous innovation. This feature enhances passenger convenience while reflecting growing trends in eliminating traditional processes through technology-led solutions. By integrating lounge services within their digital ecosystem, Adani aims for a world-class customer journey at every interaction point.
The platform works in collaboration with various lounge service providers, offering broader availability and consistent quality. This model could serve as a blueprint for further digitisation initiatives in the country’s aviation sector, leading to faster, contactless, and more efficient service delivery.
